July 21, 2026: Email and Text

Hello members,

With summer in full swing, we have been delighted to see so many of you enjoying the pool! As we settle into the dog days of summer, we have a few important reminders and exciting updates to share to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

CRC Parties:
We love seeing members enjoy the facilities with friends; however, we want to kindly remind everyone of our pool party policy. To help our guards prepare and keep all families and guests safe, parties with 11 or more guests must be registered in advance. As a reminder, if you are coordinating with another member to use two guest passes and will have 11 or more guests combined, this counts as a party and requires advanced notice and may include a cost for additional lifeguards. You can review the full policy here (see page 6). We have noticed several unregistered gatherings recently; please note that for safety reasons, unregistered parties may be asked to leave, and applicable fees may be charged after the fact. We appreciate your cooperation in following all CRC rules and local laws.

Facility Care: To keep our grounds beautiful, please remember to pick up all trash and return chairs to the designated stacks before you leave. Additionally, when the pool is busy, please refrain from using sporting balls in or around the water. For games like football or toss, we invite you to utilize the spacious lawn area located just outside the pool gates.

Upcoming Events:
Cheers & Beers (August 8): Do you love the hourly 10 minutes of adult time at the Pool? Join us for Cheers & Beers, and enjoy two hours of adult time! Reminder, this is an age 21 and up only event. Designated drivers can be 18 years or older. Click here to purchase your ticket today!
CRC Cornhole Tournament (August 15): Think you have what it takes to be the CRC Champion? Registration is now open! Entries are $10 per two-person team. Click here to register your team today!
Movie Night (August 14): Join us for a film on the big screen! Stay tuned for the movie title announcement.

Feel free to reply to this email if you have any questions for the CRC Board.

Thanks,
CRC Board

June 23, 2026: Email & Text

We are having a fantastic pool season so far—thank you for being such wonderful members! As we continue to enjoy the summer, we have a few important reminders regarding pool behavior and some exciting updates regarding upcoming events.

  • Reminders:
    • Community Grills: Our community grills are valuable assets. The Board cleans them regularly, but if you notice significant grease buildup during use, please turn off the grill, allow it to cool, and report the issue to the lifeguards. Please do not pour liquids onto the grill to lower the temperature. Maintaining these grills helps us preserve funds for upcoming capital improvements.
    • Trash, Chairs & Sporting Balls: Please remind your family and guests to pick up after themselves! Also, please return chairs to the stacks marked by signs when you are ready to leave the pool. When the pool is busy, please refrain from using sporting balls in or out of the water. For games like football or toss that use large balls, please utilize the lawn area outside the pool grounds.
    • Tennis & Pickleball Courts: Please ensure courts are locked at night and used strictly for their intended purposes. Recent reports of inappropriate use concern us; your help in keeping our facilities secure ensures they remain available for everyone.
    • Volleyball Court: You may have noticed damage to the volleyball net caused by individuals hanging on it, which prevents proper tension. Please speak with your children and guests about respecting all CRC grounds and equipment so we can keep them in good repair. The Board will be looking into repairs for this court.
  • Events:

  • URGENT: Important Reminder Regarding Respect for CRC Facilities and Pool Rules
  • Dear Centennial Recreation Club Members,
  • We are writing to you today with a message of concern and urgency regarding the treatment of our shared facility. In just two days of being open, we have already experienced unacceptable vandalism and misuse of our grounds.
  • As a reminder, each member is a shareholder and an owner of the Centennial Recreation Club facility. This is your asset, and we expect it to be treated with the respect and care that ownership demands. The rules of the pool and grounds are in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and sustainable environment for all of us.
  • Unfortunately, the grounds have recently suffered damage and negligence, including:
    • The new (and unfinished) pickleball court has been vandalized with a motorized bike leaving skid marks and holes, requiring additional money and labor costs to fix.
    • The volleyball court net was damaged as a result of children hanging on it until it broke.
    • Inside the pool grounds, trash is being left and not properly discarded.
    • Inside the grounds, chairs are not being stacked properly after use.
  • The disrespect shown to our facilities is disappointing. The CRC Board takes this matter very seriously. A report for the vandalism on the courts has been filed with the police, and we have requested additional patrols for the area. Additionally, the Board will be installing cameras around the facility to deter and document future incidents.
  • Please be aware that if conditions do not change, the courts will be further locked down, requiring the courts to be locked and closed when the pool is not open, and requiring a key checked out from the guards for entry as well as mandatory adult supervision during use.
  • We implore all members to respect the rules, take pride in their ownership, and help us preserve the club for everyone to enjoy. Please speak with your children and other family members about cleaning up their trash, picking up chairs, and treating the facility with respect.
